Clearcut & Co. began as a family-owned company, Clearcut Construction, Inc., in 2000, specializing in decks, screened porches, and exterior living spaces. Over the years, we discovered our true passion lies in designing and building custom luxury kitchen and bathrooms. Today, we focus exclusively on transforming the most important spaces in your home into thoughtfully designed environments that balance beauty, functionality, and everyday comfort.

Richard’s passion for design and building began at a young age, creating and planning structures on his grandparents’ farm. What started as treehouses and backyard clubs grew into a lifelong calling. Years later, that passion, combined with his entrepreneurial spirit, led him to found his own design-build company, where he continues to transform homes with creativity, craftsmanship, and purpose.

Monica Ryder

Construction/ Office Manager

As Clearcut’s Construction Office Manager, Monica plays a vital role in the company’s success. She oversees budgeting, finances, and daily operations while also contributing to the design process. Her keen eye for detail and thoughtful perspective provide valuable insight as she collaborates with Richard on design concepts and project planning. Together, they guide the vision of the company, ensuring continued growth while delivering an exceptional experience for every client.
